Stats & insights
The stats page has two tabs. Overview is the state of things: streak and weekly goal, gap nudges, stalled lifts, totals, highlights, the training calendar, and the year in review. Trends is the analysis: volume and effort over time, block-over-block comparison, form & fatigue, top-lift strength curves, relative strength, standards, trajectory, recovery, pacing, rep ranges, muscle split and balance.
The honesty rule
Every analysis card has a data gate: a minimum amount of history below which it simply does not render. Form & fatigue needs two weeks; the recovery card needs a dozen comparable sessions; strength standards need a bodyweight measurement and barbell lifts; detraining needs three real training breaks. No placeholders, no charts drawn through two points. The exact gates are listed with each formula in the math.
Overview cards
- Streak & weekly goal — consecutive trained weeks, with this week's progress toward your goal.
- Gap nudges — muscle groups in your rotation that have gone quiet 9+ days. Forge only nags about the program you actually run.
- Stalled lifts — the deload detector's findings, linked to each exercise.
- Highlights — frequency, average session, time under iron, longest streak, most trained lift, busiest day, month-over-month volume.
- Training calendar — a GitHub-style year heatmap.
- Year in review — totals, biggest PR, longest streak, biggest month, monthly volume bars.
Trends cards
- Weekly volume — with an average-RPE line once you log effort.
- This block vs last — 28-day blocks: volume, workouts, per-muscle sets, per-lift e1RM deltas.
- Form & fatigue — 42-day fitness vs 7-day fatigue with a fresh / productive / overreaching read.
- Top lifts & relative strength — weekly best e1RM, absolute and ÷ bodyweight.
- Strength standards — barbell lifts scored Untrained → Elite.
- Trajectory — a straight-line fit to your e1RM trend with the next round-number milestone. A compass, not a promise.
- Recovery sweet spot — how strong you show up after 1, 2, 3, 4+ rest days.
- Pacing — measured rest between sets and session density.
- Time of day — a strength index per morning / afternoon / evening slot.
- Rep ranges, muscle split, push/pull balance — where the work actually goes.
- Detraining — what a layoff historically costs you per week away.
